Trading Bay Dining Company - Dorset

Was sat down on the patio with my family of 4. We were handed the menues and they were COVERED in mold. Immediately walked out. Can only imagine the state of the kitchen.

The food was good However!!! We were not impressed that they added the gratuity of 18% to the bill, giving us no choice as to how much to tip.

The best food in the area. Some rough spots to overcome but I love it and have eaten everything on the menu multiple times. Difficulty scaling service on super busy days. Needs a cocktail and wine list (real lime juice margarita, Aperol Spritz, old fashioned etc).2. Put a freezer or fridge next to the front door and sell takeaway items like frozen pasta trays and entire cheesecakes.3. Bring back specials and rotate menu, the Hoisin ribs were superb.4. The desserts are excellent but hidden on the menu. Promote dessert with a big sign or above.5. Burgers are thick and overcooked typically, a thinner smash style burger would do really well

Wonderful place to stop at and get a great meal, they have a good menu. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. We were not able to get a table outdoors so we sat inside, the restaurant appeared to be a little dis-organized and some tables needed cleaning, but I do understand that the outdoor area was very busy.

Fish n chips was delicious. Service was fantastic. Sitting on a deck near the water was perfect
