Bidra med feedbackOne of the most perfectly cooked steak I have had, and everything served along with it was perfectly balanced. Have to say the assorted vegetables served as a side was just amazing!!Our starters and dessert as well were 5/5 Thank you chef! Everything tasted so good, as well as perfectly presented. Even though the restaurant was busy, the service was on point . The only thing I would say is we wished the restaurant more cozy and intimate considering it’s a castle hotel but instead felt we were in an extended dinning hall. There were so many rooms within the castle that could be used for dining including the Father Browne bar which I think could be a restaurant instead of a bar, as most guests visit the upstairs bar anyways. Overall like I said meal was the highlight and was fantastic
Johnny and George were great! The food was AMAZING. Wouldn't recommend staying in the Castle, but definitely the restaurant! The only negative comment was that my Husband wished there was 4 slices of the duck, rather than just two. I would come here again for my next birthday if I could.
The food was just okay considering the fine dining designation. (The hotel breakfast served here is good. But the decor was very ordinary, again in light of the designation. It is a large room that resembles a corporate executive cafeteria, no warmth or charm to it at all.

The steak at this restaurant was cooked to perfection and everything served alongside it was well-balanced. The assorted vegetables as a side dish were particularly amazing. Our starters and dessert were also excellent. The chef deserves a big thank you! The food not only tasted delicious but was also beautifully presented. Despite the restaurant being busy, the service was top-notch. The only downside was that the restaurant felt a bit too large and impersonal for a castle hotel. It would have been nicer if it was more cozy and intimate. There were many rooms within the castle that could have been used for dining, including the Father Browne bar which could potentially be transformed into a restaurant. Overall, the meal was the highlight of our visit and was fantastic.
