Blacktail Station Steak House - DILLON

Food was absolutely fabulous!? Service was absolutely stupendous! Trudy has perfect timing in asking about our needs and very friendly! Jacqueline(? , the bartender, makes a mean virgin strawberry daiquiri. The flavor was wonderful, which sometimes ishard to do without the alcohol. All food was melt in your mouth good! So definitely going back!??????????

Black tail has always been a favourite of ours when we come from Canada. Our food was good but as I had a burger the waitress of course brought condiments. I should of known better I put mayo on my burger even after I realized the bottle was roomtemperature. And after we were done the waitress did indeed return the mayo to a shelf. Mayonnaise ALWAYS has to be refrigerated! I had a very upset stomach after which is not cool. Not happy

Black Star has always been one of our favorite spots when we visit from Canada. Our meal was delicious, but I was disappointed when I ordered a burger and the waitress brought the condiments—only to find that the mayonnaise was at room temperature, which isn't ideal. I was even more disheartened to see the mayo returned to the refrigerator after we finished our meal. Mayonnaise should always be kept chilled. This oversight really left a bad impression on me. I wasn't happy.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The pizza was decent, and the breadsticks with pesto were large and tasty. However, it's not the quietest place for dining.

While there are plenty of choices available, steak is definitely the highlight at Blacktail Station. I ordered the ribeye, and my partner opted for the NY strip. Both cuts were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right! This has become our favorite spot in the area for when we don’t feel like grilling steak at home.
