Bidra med feedbackI had lunch her and it’s a very cozy place inside or in the little courtyard. The service was good and informal, even tho only one of the waitresses spoke English. I had the duck and can recommend that. In a place like Dijon I was hoping they had a little better knowledge on win and recommendation.
The building was a lovely bit of architecture and was situated in the centre. The restaurant was filled with paintings all around. This created an enjoyable atmosphere and environment. Especially with nice and pleasant staff. The food was excellent. It arrived fast and tasted delicious. The restaurant also has a cafe and shop downstairs. I had an enjoyable time and would definitely recommend. I would advise to book beforehand because it is very busy.
After walking for a while searching for an appealing cafe, brassiere, or restaurant I stumbled across Maison Milliere, a tea shop in a very old building offering a variety of teas and food. Would it be the typical tearoom, expensive, impersonal, average quality, etc. Upon entering it was a case of touchdown ; comfortably cool in comparison to the growing heat of the day, it was blissfully quiet, except for a couple of children who needed to continually speak louder than than the array of business and tourist adults present, no music, (hands up who 's over being in drinking and dining establishments where you have to speak over music) and it had a bar for those not in the mood for a cuppa. I ordered the entree of the day, Zucchini Cannelloni and the desert of the day which I am remiss in not recalling the dish 's name. The cannelloni was a pleasant surprise, a cold dish, the zucchini formed the role of cannelloni, the filling was tasty and the mouse forming the role of sauces was divine. A wow experience. Then came desert. Very tasty strawberries forming a wall on a circular chocolate biscuit type base with a desert cream on top that only the French seem to master. Most of the time I order a desert it 's a disappointment but this was divine tasting number 2. The staff were pleasant and were constantly and discreetly checking if guests, tables, needed their attention. The prices were extremely moderate especially for such a tourist location. There is only praise for Maison Milliere; an unexpected sanctuary.
The owner and staff are warm and welcoming. The gift shop is full of interesting and tasteful local items. The building is historic and atmospheric — it is like stepping back in time. And the lunch special was excellent and very flavorful celery soup, pork medallions, and a pear tart that tasted like fresh, rioe pears.
The reception is very pleasant and is confirmed throughout the meal. the frame decorated with beautiful beams and classic paintings and baroque and fantastic style. We have tasted the beef cheek whose cooking is excellent and the supreme poultry sauce is very good (3 witnesses.) the wine with glass is possible for about ten wines (nights, pouilly smoked among others.) very nice plate of cheeses and chocolate melting very honest ... !
