The Wheelhouse Seafood And Pasta

We drove some 20 miles from Digby to get to this place since no restaurant in Digby would answer their phone on a Saturday night. I am so glad we made the drive! I got the scallops and there were 15 of them for about $30. Everything about this place was great! Good food and wine and really reasonable prices. And the view to the ocean across the street was quite neat.

Jamie S was a fantastic server. The clam chowder was delicious. The portions large, the beer cold; what more could you ask for?

We went there with extended family, there were 7 of us. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive to us, cracking jokes with the Coke drinker sorry no Coke just Pepsi All of our appetizers were amazing, bacon wrapped scallops, coconut shrimp dip was super spicy , deep fried pickles and bruschetta. I ordered the scallop dinner, scallops were pan seared perfectly, they were large and plentiful. Others in our group ordered haddock and lobster dinners and the portions were huge!! All of us were too full for dessert but the options sounded amazing!! 3 of us were here from Ontario when I come back I will be sure to visit the Wheelhouse again!

We dined here for both dinner and breakfast and both meals were incredibly delicious. The view from the restaurant is unparalleled and I would return in a heartbeat.

Good view, very good food and decent service. The bacon wrapped scallops are a wonderful appetizer. We were on the patio on a beautiful sunny day. It would have been perfect if they were dog friendly. My little guy had to stay in the van, fortunately it has air conditioning I can run for a short time.
