Bidra med feedbackThough the staff are nice enough, with the way they are set up at drive-thru they can only serve one client/car at a time in a 10 minutes wait... Longer wait compared to other fast food restaurants, salads have way too much dressing and the fries were lukewarm and mushy.
When you visit a combination KFC/Taco Bell, you know what to expect food-wise, but waiting times can be longer than anticipated. The staff is friendly, but on multiple visits, I have waited up to 10 minutes for just a few burritos. The drive-through is small and outdated, and the service in the store isn't much quicker. Despite my occasional cravings for this type of food, I have only visited a few times a year over the past 5 years due to the consistently slow service. I would visit more frequently if the service was faster.
During our visit to Dieppe, on our way home, we opted to get dinner at KFC. We both chose the big crunch combos with a side of poutine. I had a Dr. Pepper while my wife went with Pepsi. The food was delicious and we particularly enjoyed the sandwiches and poutine. We definitely plan on returning in the future.
Typical KFC/Taco Bell. Good service, clean restaurant. Plenty of parking outside and within walking distance to the mall.
The drive-thru speaker has been broken for at least 6 months, possibly longer. I don't remember it ever working. It honestly could have been broken for over a year now. I asked about it once and was given a vague answer about how they were having problems with the drive-thru speaker. I think this alone should sum up this restaurant, but if you like ranting, please read on.I honestly don't know what's going on in this restaurant. It's the only place I can satisfy my guilty Taco Bell pleasure so I return every few months or so. Since going through the broken drive-thru is going to be at least a 20-30 minute investment of time, I typically go into the restaurant. It's like stepping through the looking glass. The employees at this location seem like they are just a group of random people that walked in off the street and decided to operate a KFC for the day. Employees wander around aimlessly. You can stand at the counter for minutes on end and have employee after employee walk by you, barely acknowledge your existence, and then wander off to do fiddle around with something. Watching them closely (what else do you have to do?) you will notice they don't actually seem to be doing anything at all. Eventually someone will arrive to take your order. This interaction always feels 'off'. I can't explain it, it just feels slightly awkward and strange every time. There always seems to be one or more people just 'hanging around' in the restaurant seating area looking into the kitchen. No matter what, it always takes an excessively long time to get your food. Despite your relief upon finally being fed, take a moment to check your order carefully. It is not at all out of the question that instead of preparing your order, your server simply picked up random objects from around the kitchen and placed them in your bag.I rarely complain about restaurant service, but after months of the drive-thru being broken and the bizarre atmosphere in this place I attempted to give feedback at the corporate website. I couldn't even find this specific location. I looked. Hard.Is this restaurant operated by rogue employees who have mutinied against their corporate overlords? Perhaps it closed years ago and some enterprising individuals have simply moved in as squatter restaurateurs? Is someone or some group of individuals expending a tremendous amount of effort sabotaging their drive-thru electronics? If you like strange mysteries, check this place out.
