Pepe’s Bosque Mexican Grill

Great food and fair price and portion of food was great.

Ordered the berry margarita and it was completely flavorless, it tasted like dirty water with zero alcohol in it. The regular margarita tasted like sugar free crystal light. We ordered steak fajita and carne asada. The steak didn't seem to have been marinated. The servers didn't seem to have assigned sections, they're just all over the place and with that there's delay in service (easy fix with decent management).

A lot of friends rave about this place. Mexican food in the Deep South is far different than other places I visit. The food is more “Americanized” and the prices are usually very inexpensive. Pepe’s is no different, EXCEPT it has an open salsa bar with numerous choices and great daily specials that are surprisingly affordable. The waitress was super kind. For the kind of Mexican food we expect in Mississippi, this place is well above average. You’ve been warned, this place is packed during peak dining hours. And trust me, don’t go to the Mexican restaurant across the street as a substitute. Parking: Avoid typical lunch and dinner hours.

Had a great experience here after hitting the Casino’s Friday. Service was top notch, waiter checked on me multiple times to make sure I had everything I needed. In addition he made the Bosque marg I ordered and it was excellent. The triple citrus and top notch ingredients were a surprise I didn’t expect. You barely get these types of fresh drinks in towns 5 10x larger. Great work. Since I sat in the bar, the waiter also informed me there was a salsa bar. I was intrigued so I took a spin by to see what they had and again, totally impressed with the 8 offerings which included everything from habanero salsa, habanero cream, onion+jalapeño mixture and some tomato and tomatillo based salsas. A+ to the management and owners this is another offering besides the cocktails, that sets you guys far apart from the competition. One suggestion consider selling salsa to go. I would have definitely bought some! I’ll be back next time I’m in the area. Don’t sleep on this place. Parking: 40+ parking spots

This was by far the worst food I’ve ever put in my mouth.
