Midwest Grille - Detroit

This restaurant in north linwood was built where motown records studio b once stood. they serve good food.

I followed the chef on the ig and wanted to go there for a minute. I finally made it and it wasn't disappointed. the foos taste as good as the picture

Customer Service was not that good. The food was salty. I had the hibachi with steak shrimp and chicken$35. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well and was told they Cook everything well done. Despite my request????? First impressions mean a lot. I like to support small businesses, but not sure if I?ll go back.

I patroned this place a couple months ago, forgot to post my review. I ordered the shrimp, chicken, rice, broccoli meal. It was over priced between 25 and 28.00 I believe. It was a lunch size proportion, the small black container. It was ok but the shrimp was very orange and the inside of the shrimp was yellow instead of white/pink/opaque. Old maybe? I paid for the meal and wasnt given a receipt so I assumed it would be given to me stapled on the container or in the bag but it wasnt, so I asked for it. Well I ended up going back and forth with the cashier who told me I was supposed to REQUEST the receipt at the time of the order, wow! He went on to say some other things I wont discuss here. I only ate here once, maybe an isolated incident. Would try it again despite this incident. I would clean up and keep clean the parking lot. And get a updated payment system.

Food was absolutely amazing! Mac Cheese was creamy and cheesy. Asparagus was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The food was hot and fresh. Customer service was outstanding! The cashier was friendly, courteous and professional. There was a line when we got there, but we didn't wait long at all. I will visit again. I definitely recommend Midwest Grille.on Davison in Detroit.
