The absolute best food I?ve ever had! I still think about it to this day. We did a tasting menu with sake pairings and it was absolutely delightful. We will be going back for sure.

Love mink! Intimate interior dining (bar seats are great, esp if you enjoy seeing the kitchen in action) as well as a few patio tables to enjoy the summer weather. Amazing oysters and unique twists on some classic seafood dishes. Love the sake offerings as well. Latest visit was for a nice happy hour outside!

Truly one of Detroit?s best seafood spots. Always have a wonderful meal here, and the staff is so kind. The best oyster selection I?ve seen in the Midwest!! Elevated fine food with a cozy and casual vibe.

Easily one of Detroit?s best restaurants. Small footprint, with an incredible rotating pre-fixe menu. Beautifully designed interior with a down-to-earth crew who welcomes you the moment you enter. I used to live on the East Coast and Mink?s seafood-centric menu easily competes with anything I had while living out there. Plus, they have hands down one of the best curated oyster menus I have come across. Great selection of east and west coast oysters that changes from week to week and tinned fish. I?m pretty confident that anyone leaving less than a five star review for Mink means the reviewer either doesn?t like seafood or doesn?t know what they are talking about.

The On the Croque sandwich (a fancy grilled cheese with ham) did not skimp on ham and hit the spot. The Waffle Sandwich was good though the maple aioli was more savory than expected. The oat milk lavender latte was good as well. It is on the pricey/fancy side of quick service places...a good place if you aim to impress. An 18% tip is automatically added.
