I didn’t know it had new owners. Just a new look. Got home and opened my fish sandwich, total disappointment. How did they change that to this skimpy whatever fish. I hope this doesn’t become an ice cream only spot for me. I’ve taken my family for years no matter where I’m at. Don’t tare down the quality they built up, or change the name

This is a fantastic spot to take the family during the long summer days. I really enjoy the diner atmosphere, and they offer a wide variety of food and desserts at reasonable prices. Food: 4/5.

They are absurd. I paid $4 for a water, and they told me I could refill it when I came back. When I returned, the lady instructed me to throw my cup away and then attempted to charge me another $4. Unbelievable. Food: 1/5.

Family Treat is a staple in Southwest Detroit. Year after year they continue to offer impeccable service, food quality/selection and a Wonderful Atmosphere in which to dine. Their One A Kind Sundaes, Malts, Shakes and Etc... Are to DIE FORRR!!! Try it you won't be disappointed.... I have a tip for you... If you like Cheesecake and Sundaes, try there Cheesecake Ice cream Sundae... OMG YOU BE ADDICTED!!!
