Elwood Bar Grill - Detroit

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, with a full bar and awesome food. I highly recommend trying the Philly Steak Cheese, Black Bean Burger, or the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich. Every item on the menu is delicious, and they even offer bacon wrapped beef dogs. The restaurant also has a great patio and is conveniently located across from Ford Field next to Tiger Stadium.

The bar is right across from Comerica park which made it a great place to go before the baseball game. The outdoor patio is very roomy with lots of seats and standing space. Quality of the drinks was great for the price. The inside seating is small, but on a nice day you'll definitely want to be outside!

Let's go. Wow, this place has changed a lot in the last 30 years. We stopped here to pass the time while waiting to go to the monster jam pre-party at Ford Field. The restaurant was full of people with the same laid-back attitude. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. I am happy to see that Elwood's has stood the test of time and has adapted to benefit from Detroit's revival. My favorite part of the visit was when the manager quickly noticed a disruptive customer and asked them to leave. It's nice to see that some things never change. Just to clarify, I would have also assumed the person was a vagrant, but the manager was very apologetic for the misunderstanding.

After a recommendation from a guide, we decided to give this place a try. It is a bar with a food menu located between Comerica Field and Ford Field, making it a great location. We had a beer and a cheese steak, which were both good. We also ordered quesadillas that were very tasty. The service was excellent, with the waitress being super friendly and warm. We loved this kind of service and will definitely be back. Great job, and this woman deserves a raise!

The design beer was excellent and the food smell good. service was fast and friendly.
