Great portions and food was nice and fresh. I got 2 dinners. Meatloaf with yams and macaroni were delicious. My daughter got chicken with macaroni and yams and a side of greens.The greens were a bit bitter for us, but other than that we were pleased and will return.

I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant - it's truly soul-satisfying. The friendly service gives you a feeling of being right at home. Just be prepared to wait a bit, but trust me, it's worth it. I'll give them five stars once they figure out the wait times.

I have been a regular at this restaurant since it opened. The food is fantastic!! Every time I visit, I am greeted with a smile and professionalism. Sundays tend to be busier than other days, so expect a wait. They will inform you of the wait time though. Despite the wait, you can see them working quickly to get your order ready. If you're craving delicious soul food, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

The food is awesome. This is the best fried chicken I ever had! They could just sell chicken and be a 5 star. But don't forget the baked chicken and fried fish. The cook in the back knows her way around the spice rack and don't leave without that strawberry shortbread cake. Please don't change cooks or the quality of this food!!!

Amazing food! If you haven’t tried it out yet you have too! I ordered a catfish dinner with yams and rice. I also got a turkey wing dinner with greens. Everything was fresh; some of the best soul food I’ve had in the D! P.S. you gotta get the peach cobbler
