Bidra med feedbackStaff is very friendly! Portions are large and the taste is out of this world!! The catfish and the meatloaf amazing, huge fish filets and the meatloaf is like your grandmas!! Will definitely be back!!!
By far the best soul food I've had In dallas. The service is quick, it's a cafeteria style serving and the options always change. Fried food is always made fresh( catfish, chicken wings, pork chops, etc). I've only been on Sundays and they run out of food!!! So come early!! The Mac n cheese is so good to me. The meatloaf is always good, esp when it has the red sauce on it. The fried chicken is fire, the greens, mash potatoes, rice , beans , yammmsssss basically all the side are fire. The cabbage needed a little tlc but nothing a little salt, pepper and hot sauce couldn't fix. I am so mad this is the second time in a row they have sold out of dessert by time I came. From what I hear the peach cobbler is to dieee for. I'll definitely write a review once I try it. I know I shouldn't but this has definitely become apart of my Sunday routine. The food is so cheap and the quality is out standing!!! For example my Meatloaf plate with three side, corn bread and a drink was $14 ... like whaaaat? You can't beat that. And the food is really really good. I had Kool-aid for the first time in over ten years today and it was FIREEEEE lol idk who made this but they need a raise! It was perfectly sweet, sour and refreshing! Family owned black business, doesn't get any better!!! Y'all definitely should come here!!
I’m honestly super disappointed in this place. I’ve seen some reviews about good soul food and great customer service but when me and my man went, it was the complete opposite. We waited in line for over an hour, ordered two plates of oxtails with two sides a piece and paid over $65. We will not be back.
Good home style soul food. Not sure about the amount of food versus price. At 15.99 a meal with moderate portions, a drink and dessert should come with it.
It’s March 24th 1110. The hours on the door state they open 11am. The doors are locked and I see employees standing in the kitchen. No acknowledgment that we are at the door. Yes, the food is good. But I’m no longer giving them a pass on basic business etiquette. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this.
