Bidra med feedbackDuring our first visit to lac Saint-Jean, my boyfriend and I were recommended to try this hidden gem. It's a small building that is easily overlooked if you're not searching for it, and it's only open during the summer months. They offer outdoor seating and a cozy terrace. We decided to share a large bacon sausage poutine, which cost us $11, and it was worth every penny! The cheese had the perfect squeak, the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the gravy was rich and flavorful. What really impressed us was that every fry was smothered in gravy - no dry ones! The portion of bacon and sausage was generous and evenly distributed throughout. If you're in the area, this spot is a must-visit!
If you are craving poutine, look no further than Chez Aline. Our friend Marc recommended this hidden gem during our tour of Lac Saint-Jean. Tucked away on the side of the road, this spot is popular among locals. We enjoyed our large bacon and sausage poutine on their charming terrace, which was a perfect option for a summer day. The cheese was squeaky, the gravy perfectly coated every fry, and there were no dry fries in sight. The poutine left us feeling satisfied and joyful, without the usual bloated and disgusting feeling. The crispy exterior and fluffy interior of the fries, combined with a generous serving of sausage and bacon, made for a memorable dining experience. If you find yourself in the area, Chez Aline is a must-visit spot. No dry fries here!
A good choice, and very good prices for a quick dinner
The service was very average, slow, and there was no bacon in the club sandwich.
Didn't expect one of the best falafel wraps I've ever had to be in Paris, France of all places but here we are.
