Had an excellent experience. My friends and I stopped at Johnny's to have some drinks before a concert at the Wells Fargo Arena. Being from Iowa City and not from around the area, I'd say we picked an awesome bar to hang out at! I will definitely be going back. The bartenders were very attentive and even made some drink suggestions.

Not the place I would've picked, but the beer selection is good, the pizza was decent, and our server Detra was very sweet and attentive

Just a typical sports bar. Nothing special. Pros: cheap drinks, outdoor patio (smoking allowed), good service. Cons: horrendous music and boring atmosphere (no cool lighting or unique setting)
