Burger King - Des Moines

I genuinely enjoy visiting this Burger King on my days off, as long as I'm okay with a brief wait. They often ask me to park, but there's a good reason for it: my food is always hot and fresh. Sometimes during dinner, I hope to get at least one order quickly, but I usually end up parked, which is typical for a low-volume restaurant that prepares food to order more frequently. That's why I can't give it a 5-star rating. However, I definitely recommend this Burger King for its delicious food.

On July 5th, 2020, I visited the restaurant and was impressed by the two ladies working there. Despite being overwhelmed with customers and clearly understaffed, they maintained a positive attitude and did their best to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Although it may seem like "just a Burger King," these women faced a barrage of impatient and irritable customers yet remained kind and helpful. They definitely deserve raises for their hard work, especially given the challenging conditions of the pandemic and the staffing shortages they're facing. It would be truly disheartening if they weren't compensated fairly for the exceptional way they handle their responsibilities.
