Basil Prosperi - Des Moines

The food here is absolutely amazing! After eating here, you'll find yourself wanting it again for your next meal. The sandwiches, soups, pastas, and pizza are all fantastic. I can't wait to try their breakfast as well. The bread is the best you'll find in Des Moines. Plus, the staff is incredibly kind and attentive.

The food and service are consistently excellent, even during busy times! Takeout is quick and offered with a friendly attitude as well. One of my favorites is their bread corn chowder; they never let me down!

My husband and I ordered takeout lasagna with spicy sauce and a chicken dish with tomatoes and fresh basil. We shared both dishes, and they were absolutely delicious! The service was great, and the food was excellent!
