A&r Southside Diner - Derry

Upon entering the restaurant, I was not greeted, and it was unclear whether I should seat myself or wait for someone to assist me. Although the service was generally good, I found the portion sizes to be disproportionately small. My omelet was genuinely just a four-bite portion, and the home fries were overcooked and lacking in flavor. Considering the prices and portion sizes, I would recommend looking for a different place to eat.

A hidden gem that I'd passed by countless times! On Father's Day, I decided to give it a try for breakfast with my son, hoping to escape the crowds at the downtown restaurants. To my surprise, it was larger on the inside than it appeared from the outside, featuring cozy booths and a great menu. The food and service were both excellent. We both give it a big thumbs up!

The service was friendly and efficient. The eggs cooked over light were fresh and well-prepared. The crepes with strawberries were delightful. My guest ordered a western omelet, which could have used more seasoning in the vegetables. The home fries also lacked flavor. Overall, it was a good experience.

We visited this restaurant because we had a coupon, and we're so glad we did! We will definitely return. The food was fantastic, and the staff were friendly, providing excellent service. We enjoyed the cinnamon swirl pancakes, banana caramel French toast, and one of their eggs Benedict. All three dishes were delicious!

Fantastic servers! They have such pleasant attitudes, and the food is prepared exactly as requested. The portion sizes are generous, and there are various specials to keep things interesting. My only complaint is that they don’t offer homemade hash, which would pair perfectly with their potatoes, whether you prefer them with or without onions and peppers. Plus, the chef knows how to cook without overloading everything with salt. Thank you!
