We went in and it was 5 minutes before we had 4 staring at us making comments about our looks and weight. Which is a shame really its now our closest pub and we feel we can’t go back. Prices are decent and the young lady on the bar was nice enough though

Food is always good and the pub has a nice cosy atmosphere.

We called ahead to check if food was being served and were told it was. However, when we arrived, we were informed that the chef had gone grocery shopping and would be back in 20 minutes. After waiting 45 minutes with no sign of the chef, we decided to leave. It seems reasonable to expect that food would be prepared in the morning rather than during service, which starts at 6:30 PM.

It's unfortunate that this pub isn't as good as it once was. The garden could really use a significant upgrade.
