El Matador - Denton

Was no wait time. We were seated right away. Salsa was great, had just enough kick with a great Mexican flavor. Ordered the cheese dip app, it was very good. I had the combo flamado plate. It had a very good flavor with the perfect amount of seasons, chicken, beef, onions and peppers. Rice was so so as were the beans. Overall very good place to eat and we'll for sure return.

Excellent food and service! Rarely have we been in and had to wait to be seated, staff is always courteous and attentive. Food is always hot and fresh. One of our favorites spots for mexican food.

Anyone that knows me, knows this is my favorite place for Mexican food. Great service and the best Tex Mex selections in Denton. I can never really decide what I like most, Chile Relleno, Flautas, or the Chicken Enchiladas Can't go wrong with any of them.

We never go out to eat at rush hour so service was great. Our waitress was attentive and sweet. Chips/salsa and food was good. Only down side was the ranch is bottled but no biggie, we just won't ask for that again. Can't wait to go back. Bring a DD because these margaritas are amaaaaaazing.

I like to consider myself a conisure of Mexican restaurants. I've been to many great restaurants, but I mean to tell y'all, this restaurant is by far the best. I've recently have been trying the Coctel de Camarones, also known as shrimp cocktail, and El Matador puts sooooooooo many shrimp bites in the serving!!! The taste is beyond comparison to any I have anywhere else. I won't even get started on the margaritas!!! But I order a pitcher every time, if that says something...
