Bidra med feedbackI have known my friend for quite some time, and he has always been a picky eater, preferring McDonald's to a bowl of pho and Uncle Willy's over a sushi platter. However, since marrying his wife, she has introduced him to a whole new culinary world, and he has started to appreciate both Chinese and Filipino dishes. So today, I decided to invite myself to their date night to witness this transformation firsthand. Not only would this evening allow us to catch up and for me to meet his wife officially, but she would also be the perfect guide for exploring traditional Filipino cuisine.
The service can be inconsistent, but it's a dependable option for takeout. The whole milk fish and crispy chicken appetizer are both excellent. The adobos have a bit too much tang for my taste. However, the desserts are a real treat! I really enjoyed the flan and halo halo.
The restaurant offers a selection of traditional Filipino dishes. One standout item is the BBQ pork, which is priced at $3.50 for a generous portion that brings back memories of street food in Manila. The sizzling sisig is decent as well, perfect for those with a craving for this popular dish.
