Delmar Bistro

This place is a home away from home, and in more ways than one! First the food is literally home cooked except for this not being a home but a restaurant. It is absolutely good for your hungry soul. Second the atmosphere and service from the owner andcooks are warm, polite, and loving! Best place to eat in the capital region bar none!

Nice quiet (perfect for the end of the work day). Read the entire menu. Could not choose. So I just shared with the nice young lady what I like from the menu and the Chef made me a very nice dish. Fried egg soft in the middle (surprise ???? for me) overwhite rice. Shrimp, chicken, vegetables, semi-sweet sauce. Very tasty. Nice price.

Highly recommend eating here! It is owned and run by a family who are so welcoming and nice, on top of the fact that they are great cooks! Every meal is made from scratch, so if you are looking for an amazing home cooked meal in a nice relaxed andfriendly setting, there is no place better!

This place is a hidden gem!! The food was exceptional! High quality ingredients and full of flavor. Both my wife and I loved it and are looking forward to going back. Service was also top notch. If you are looking for something new to try, I wouldrecommend giving Delmar Bistro a try.

We had a terrible experience here in January. We ordered a chicken dish and beef stroganoff. The chicken was literally bad--meaning the meat had gone bad. The stroganoff was tasty but had no beef. It was all rice and mushrooms. Will definitely not be going back.
