Bidra med feedbackNot only really great people, but fantastic home cooking in a nice setting. By the way I updated Yelp and it's still taking my whole life up to post this short review!
Very good. Went on a hike in the blue hills and afterwards looking for lunch. Thanks to YELP we found small batch cafe. Atmosphere is not the draw. Well-priced excellent food and friendly service are the reasons to go there. Heartily recommend. I had club sandwich which was good. I think the next time I would ask to forego the middle slice of bread. Definitely a thumbs up. My wife had beet salad with walnuts and homemade ricotta. The golden beets looked great. She finished it off in a flash. Another thumbs up.
Needed a breakfast burrito and Small Batch came up. One of the best I have had! I stood looking at the menu trying to justify coming back for lunch this afternoon to try other items. Small Batch will be on the regular rotation going forward.
We throughly enjoyed our lunch. Homemade turkey barley soup that wasn’t over salted, Thank you very much! Delicious with with a home cooking taste. A steak and cheese sandwich w/ fried onions was delicious but could have used a little more meat. And a salad with lovely hard cooked eggs and crispy bacon. Great dressing, so good that I asked for a little more! Can’t wait to return to have another house made dish. Even homemade muffins and cookies ?
Went here for the first today with my mom and sister for brunch. I got a Reuben sandwich which was delicious. My mom got a salmon bagel and my sister got a breakfast sandwich. We also all shared a Caesar salad. Everything was yummy. We'll be back.
