Debary Diner

Stumbled upon this gem by chance. The best spot for breakfast in Debary. Top-notch service, incredibly friendly staff, and delicious dishes at affordable prices. The debary omelet is a must-try. Highly recommended.

Great small town diner. Angie and Rick are awesome! And yes you will always find Sunny FM playing, because Rick is the morning personality. I have not seen him there yet. Probably only see him there on a weekend.

I was expecting a standalone building, but the restaurant is actually located in a shopping center, which was a surprise coming from New York where stand-alone restaurants are more common. Despite that, it was a nice place with music memorabilia and a tribute to veterans and first responders. The restaurant is owned by radio personality Rick Stacie, but he wasn't there during my visit – instead, we listened to Domino on Sunny FM. The prices were a bit high, with my double quarter pound burger with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg costing $14, which I thought was a bit much for what it was. However, the burger was cooked to my liking and was a three-napkin meal. My wife enjoyed her chicken cordon bleu as well. The restaurant served food on industrial trays and paper products, which was a bit of a disappointment, but the service was good even though there were only a few other customers. I later found out that Stacie was going on a cruise, so I assume the restaurant is doing well. I plan to return for the all-you-can-eat fish option in the future.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It looked like a nice local diner with home cooked food and the added bonus of a ?support our troops? sentiment. However, when we got to the door we found that they don?t want to serve free-thinking, reasonable, intelligent human beings, which is rather unfortunate. I wouldn?t normally waste my time writing a review for such a place, but I feel a responsibility to warn my fellow sensible humans that they might not want to bother driving to this place, because I did that.

I absolutely adore this diner! The staff is friendly, the service is great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I appreciate their support for military veterans, as evidenced by the wall of military honors and flags on every table. This diner has been featured on national news and is always bustling with customers. It is definitely worth the wait!
