Bidra med feedbackHad a great coffee and fantastic delicious cake here. wish we had time to go back for a meal, as everything that came to the other tables looked great. the staff was very friendly and the place was very cozy with beautiful cozy decoration. if they go check the wallpaper in the toilet was just a little problem that they didn't take a card, which means we had to break out for some money. no problem if they know in advance, but could be solved by a little zettle (or similar) card machine on a phone.
A cozy small coffee shop at the deal directly at the sea near the royal hotel. that said the staff is very polite, friendly. with an old wood burner fire place in the corner, a mix and fit of old wooden tables and chairs and old fashion pictures hanging on the wall, this is a great place for a quiet coffee and lunch. large menu that all sown before location.
That was our second visit in this quirky caffe. our first visit was long and unforgettable with a lot of chat, some delicious eating after a fair waiting and a great atmosphere. this time the waitress was very sweet and helpful, although that was waiting the same long. but we expected that a cook prepared everything. the food was delicious when it came, although £12 for a big veggie breakfast is expensive. they only take cash. it has a good atmosphere in the main room, but there is a picture in the common toilets that trivializes self-mord and that really influences the overall experience. I hope they will remove it.
Great dinner here with perfectly cooked fish, and lovely service. This was the most charming spot we found in Deal, very cozy and doesn't feel like a chain or touristy as much does in Deal.
We ordered a wild garlic and mushroom risotto during our visit, and while it was very flavorful, it unfortunately had a bit too much salt. When we mentioned it, the owner was quick to apologize and had already recognized the issue, graciously charging us for only one serving. This was the first time we encountered a dish that wasn't up to par, but it hasn't deterred us—we'll definitely be returning!
