Bidra med feedbackPassing through, so glad trip advisor had this restaurant near our hotel. At 38 degrees not interested in walking further. We knew from other reviews that It was going to be French all the way. Don’t be put off the menu is simple and the locals will help recommend. We knew from another review that the charcuterie should be between two, a good recommendation. The turbot was on special and recommended be other diners. Lots of locals lovely people. This is not fine dressed up dining but it’s not totally casual but special.
We had the most delicious meal in this restaurant a typically French bistro. The lady who served us very friendly and welcoming. We speak little French, and she spoke little English, but it was not a problem. Plenty of bread, as usual in France, and it was not an issue to ask for butter. We had an enormous platter of charcuterie to share as a starter, which was delicious. We then had pork and fish, which were both perfectly cooked (it was the most tender pork I have ever eaten). I think we were very lucky to just walk in and get a table I'm sure you would need to book at the height of the season. Do go if you're in the area highly recommended.
A few years ago, there were fresh products on the map. Well, maybe not all, but it's forgiven. When I ordered my steak on horseback, I was not asked to cook and I knew I was going to eat badly. I had 2 frozen steaks too cooked, fat, frozen fries also and an egg whose cooking was doubtful... my spouse, idem. We left without finishing our plates, without dessert... since we were eaten a dessert elsewhere. We won't come back here again.
We thank the waitresses of us who were very busy with us during a luncheon between friends during the dax feria. top service, clean toilet and a delicious hamburger home. We recommend!
We were the first customers, normal it was early. beautiful room. Polished reception no more. We order our dishes and wine. The bottle is laid on the table without making us taste it. My snails were well seasoned at the parsley and garlic level, but the butter was very light. (mark made to the waitress) When my meat was too cooked, yet I insisted "between blue and bleeding but maxi bleeding. Too bad because she seemed very good. The correct rates
