Miguel's Beach'n Baja - Dauphin Island

Wonderful fresh food. One of the best places we visited on the island.

This place is a fantastic hidden gem that feels more like a food truck nestled in a small shop. I had a bowl, a burrito, and a quesadilla, and everything was delicious. The mahi was outstanding, the pulled pork was excellent, and the chicken was delightful. The salsas were spot on, and the unexpected sides of sour cream were a wonderful addition. This is the perfect spot to grab a quick meal, and the smoothie bowls next door ensure there's something for everyone. I highly recommend it—especially coming from someone who enjoys Mexican cuisine several times a week in all its various styles, from Cali-Mex to Tex-Mex. This little shop definitely exceeded my expectations!

Decent food, but overpriced. 9 dollars for two fish tacos. It was made to order and it was fresh but I probably wouldn't go back

The Mexican food here is excellent. It's a takeout-only spot, so there's no seating available.

I intended to take a photo of my meal, but it vanished too quickly! The fish tacos were absolutely perfect, and the lady serving us was incredibly kind.
