Parkside Pub and Smokehouse - Dartmouth

This was my first visit to this restaurant, but it won't be my last! The staff really knows their way around a smoker. The food was absolutely delicious - the best I've ever had. The rib was slightly overcooked, but still tasty. The wings were a tad too smokey for my liking, but still delicious. The service was great too! I highly recommend this place if you're in the Dartmouth (Burnside area).

We came for an early lunch, ordered a few caesars before our meal and they were probably one of the best tasting caesars I had (and I drank many of them). the first thing I noticed was how good the prices were, it's hard. to find a escape for a good price anywhere in these days. they had many different options for beef burgers, with different sauces and toppings. I went for the derby steak for my partner got the new flatbread with cesar salat. I added tweeping with my steak coleslaw. when our food arrived, it came with hand-cut fries (my fav) and tassen koleslaw (yum) also came with a piece of maisbrot. was presentation and the taste of everything was quite decent. steak was a little done about, but it was a Derby steak so I understand that they are a little hard to cook perfectly. our waitress was amazing, so attentive and friendly. overall was a really good experience. I will definitely try something else on the menu.

Eating is very good and inexpensive. our waitress was excellent, we really enjoyed the live music.

My wife and I noticed this restaurant while driving on the highway and decided to give it a try. The service was quick as soon as we arrived. We started with the potato skins, which were delicious and a generous portion. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich with hand-cut fries and enjoyed both, although the sandwich was large and she couldn't finish it all. I opted for the rib and wing combination, and was impressed by the smoked wings and tender ribs. The mashed potatoes on the side were also very tasty. Despite being too full for dessert, we found the portions to be large and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and we heard the seafood is also a must-try, so we look forward to returning to sample that.

We decided to stop by this restaurant to give it a try. The food was okay. We were given a bottle of mustard and relish for our burger. Unfortunately, the mustard bottle had not been opened yet, so we had to struggle to open it with a fork (due to covid precautions). Upon closer inspection, we noticed that the mustard had expired in July. We mentioned this to our waitress, who just said she would inform someone. It seemed like the bottle had not been cleaned or replaced. We also ordered a chicken wrap without tomatoes, but it came with tomatoes. It was quickly taken back and returned to us within a few minutes, but it was clear that they had simply removed the tomatoes. We had to carefully check the wrap to make sure there were no traces of tomatoes left behind. We found a few seeds, fortunately they were not from ripe tomatoes. One of the waitresses was seen pulling down her mask while talking to customers, which was concerning. Overall, we were not overly impressed with the experience. The paper menus were just stacked up when they were picked up from our table.
