Dropped by doors closed at 2pm ???? A guy walking past said it was closed and it's a good thing as the health inspector shut them down according this guy NEVER go back to this dump

Beautiful interior, but the waitress was short with our group or 6 and kept telling ppl they were short staffed. She was irritated with us that we didn't know what everyone else at the table had ordered. She put things down in one place and expected us to pass everything around for her. They were out of two or three things we ordered. The batter on the chicken balls wasn't fully cooked. Then at the checkout, the woman there made a joke about how she felt like Eddie Murphy making the won ton soup in his stand up routine! Totally gross and not something you should joke with customers about. Never again.

Went to the Garden View for lunch with a coworker on a Thursday. We were the only people there close to noon. We were quickly seated and given our menus. Drink orders were taken immediately. We both ate from the lunch special menu and we both ordered an extra egg roll each. Egg rolls arrived shortly before our main dish. A small pot of gold was set on the table (house plum sauce). The main dishes were placed before we put away the egg rolls. All food was hot and tasty. Lunch specials were $7.99 for beef fried rice and your choice of 1 main side and an egg roll.

I always enjoy the food and good service. This restaurant has been in business a long time. I remember eating here in the early 80s and thinking the food was excellent. I still think so. Whether it's good for someone on a budget would depend on the budget. A combo plate for $10 is a decent price these days.

Very good food, fast and friendly service Portion sizes are very good, and combos are a good price. Canadian fare menu I'm not a fan of but my son loves.
