Byblos Lebanese Restaurant - Dartmouth

I have been dining at Byblos Indian Cuisine for the past year and have always enjoyed their food, especially the Amritsari Kulcha and garlic naans. However, on my recent visit, their tandoor was not working properly. Despite this, when I requested for a naan to accompany my regular order of daal makani and butter chicken, they initially refused, citing a commitment to quality. I explained that my pregnant wife was craving naan and they kindly agreed to make one for me, though warned it may not be up to their usual standard due to a burner issue. The cook went out of his way to craft a naan specially for me, even showing me the process. I am grateful to Byblos for their exceptional service and generosity in fulfilling my request, even after hours. It is worth mentioning that they did not charge me for the naan, offering it to me free of charge.

Few places were open and delivering, being Good Friday and all, so a friend and I decided on this place given we had a craving for Indian food. I ordered with low expectations and requested ‘extra spicy’ for 2 dishes (curry chicken and vegetarian) to see how hot they would make them. I am used to Indian food from the UK and boy was it on point, my friend enjoyed it but struggled with the heat LOL. We ordered quite a bit for 2 people and devoured everything. The sauces were flavourful with body and not watery like most spots in town who haven’t reduced the sauce base sufficiently. Looking forward to placing an order again and suggest given them a try.

This restaurant is fantastic. The food is absolutely delicious, with a mix of Indian and Lebanese cuisine.

I've been in Canada for a week now. Byblos is the most delicious restaurant I've been too! Happy to find great Lebanese food in Canada. I have to mention that the place and the toilets were exceptionally clean.

Best Lebanese you will find. Service and Chef amazing!! The kofta to die for. Garlic sauce is deadly!!!!!! Thank You
