Bidra med feedbackCute place, the food was good, some dishes very good, but the portions were tiny. Most mains were entree sized. Would have needed to order more than one main per person, but for that it was a bit too expensive.
I 've been to Johnny Fishbone quite often and every time I think that it can’t be as good as the time before, and I’m happy to discover that I’m always wrong. Philip is one of the best chefs in Sydney. The menù changes every week, sometimes twice a week, every time is a new experience, it’s impossible to get bored. I truly believe that in this wine bar you can get the best food in Sydney, and I can tell you that my standards are quite high. Excellent indigents combined magnetically, a real treat for your palate. The wine list isn’t huge but the selection is great and very affordable. Cosy venue always warm and welcoming, one of the few places where you can enjoy decent music. The staff is always smiling, helpful and gives very good suggestions regarding food and wine and it,s super super friendly.
Its a simple menu with 3 4 options for entrees and mains but all looked delicious it still make the decision hard to make! Staff were super friendly and attentive, with a lovely unique wine menu (yes for orange wines! Just a shame that road works kicked in halfway through the meal (not their fault of course Would go again!
This is definitely one of the new hidden gems in Sydney. Killer wines, cocktails are great and we've been twice now and almost tried all the dishes which are all superb.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was beautiful and ambiance perfect
