On the negative side, some gym members can be quite inconsiderate. They often occupy equipment and seem to be more interested in socializing than actually working out, which can make it hard to believe that anyone is genuinely exercising. Additionally, I would expect a gym of this caliber to prioritize cleanliness, but I rarely see anyone cleaning equipment after use, and cleaning wipes are not readily available. For comparison, Crunch Fitness has wipes available on almost every support pole throughout their facility. On the positive side, Lifetime Fitness truly has everything you could possibly need in a gym. However, it’s important to note that these amenities come at a price if you have a standard membership. Lastly, the staff is very helpful; I feel confident navigating the gym, and I often see staff members walking around, checking in on everyone.

Fantastic facility—extremely clean and well-organized. I've been a member of Life Time since 2001, and this is one of the original clubs in the Chicago area.

The restaurant is quite pricey, and the locker room facilities weren't very good. The pool area wasn't particularly clean either. I also had a disappointing experience with the daycare service. I've heard that other locations of this chain are better, but I personally didn't enjoy this one.

The restaurant frequently experiences power outages, which is quite frustrating. The location is convenient, and the staff is generally polite. However, there is one older woman who works in the locker room taking towels, and she tends to make things difficult for everyone using that area. Because of this, I will be exploring other options.

I visited the facility with a friend and ended up becoming a lifetime member, all thanks to Dana. She was incredibly helpful during the sign-up process and provided a thorough overview of the facility. After she explained all the activities and benefits of lifetime membership, I decided to join right after my workout. I highly recommend this place over X Sport or Planet Fitness. While it may be pricier, the experience is definitely worth it.
