Cousin Vinny's - Daphne

I ordered a 5 cheese pizza. No delivery but pick up was easy. Not extremely impressed as I’ve had very good pizza before. However, felt the ingredients used were of good quality. 5 cheese bread was not very good.

I’m so bummed I have to give a 1 star because the food is great but the service is terrible. We’ve spent hundreds on takeout here and thought it would be an epic rare date night out. They left us waiting with no bead, no drinks (while the other tables got multiple rounds of both) for an hour. When we finally inquired after literally every table that came in after us was served their meals, they brought our food out but there was a bug in my dish. No apology. No explanation. We’re done with this place.

I wanted to order takeout for more than just myself for Valentine's. There's only so long I will be ignored before I decide to patronize another restaurant. I wanted to try here, but I'm never coming back... The amount I checked was what I was going to spend for everyone's meals. That's Ok.

Waitresses were all very kind at first. Not so much towards the end but they were working hard. The deep dish Chicago pizza took about a hour and a half and came out cold. Whoever says the deep dish is true Chicago style has never ate a deep dish in Chicago. It was burnt. There is more of this chopped sausage link then cheese. It was so nasty my kids wouldn’t even eat it. It’s a sliced conecuh sausage or chopped bratwurst or something on there which is not a Chicago thing and New York uses a shaved sausage so must be a Alabama cost cutting thing. IDK. The meatball sandwich was dry and had burnt meatballs on it. Tried ordering a drink while waiting for this pizza and the bartender just left so couldn’t get one. I am only giving 4 stars because the waitresses were all so kind. Definitely won’t be back for the food. Sorry for the negative response I would just hate for someone else that is from the Chicagoland area to come here in hopes of getting a taste of Chicago pizza and getting this!

2nd time I've been here and both times nothing but excuses of why I can't get service and hot food.
