Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I absolutely love the food at this restaurant and have been excited to visit multiple times, but unfortunately, it was closed on one of our planned days. Yesterday, we saw that it was busy, which made us happy—we really want this place to stay open. However, it seemed like the staff was disorganized. People who arrived after us were seated before us and received drinks and appetizers right away. The host led us to the dining room but wasn't sure which table we were supposed to sit at and had to ask someone for help. We ended up waiting for a table while he cleaned. After about 10 minutes, we still hadn't received menus. When our waitress finally came over, we mentioned that we were just waiting for straws, and she became quite rude. Ultimately, we decided to leave before getting any food. The staff really needs to get more organized.
However, my second visit was disappointing. One of my companions decided to order a salad, and I quickly realized that ordering a salad at a pizza place might not be the best idea—it was just mediocre. When I inquired about the beers on tap, I was informed that I could find the options by scanning a QR code on the table. My immediate thought was that if you want me to order a beer, it would be more helpful if someone could simply go to the bar, check the available options, and explain them to me. After all, that's part of their job. To add to the frustration, there were only a handful of beers on tap—not an extensive selection—and the bar was only about 10 feet away. Plus, we were the only customers in the entire restaurant at the time. It didn’t seem like the server intended to provide bad service; it was just surprising that this was considered acceptable. I believe that employees should have a thorough understanding of the menu and be able to make recommendations based on their experiences with the food and drinks.
This used to be a family favorite, but due to numerous staff changes, it’s no longer worth visiting. While there are no issues with the food itself, it takes an incredibly long time to receive it. The service leaves much to be desired, as we faced long waits for drinks, taking our order, receiving our food, getting refills, and finally receiving the check. Additionally, their hours have been significantly reduced.
It used to be the place in Danville, Kentucky. The pizza was hot and tasty and service was great. We went on a Tuesday night this week, and the experience was pretty bad for the first half. There was a personal change in the life of the owners, and you can say that the place does not run as before. Despite the fact that the restaurant was NOT full, our party of four was expected over an hour. We were told three times that the waiting period would be 15-20 minutes. For the first time, the hostess forgot to write down our names. I asked the bartender for a drink, and she had no idea what it was, although it was on the menu, because she was not actually the bartender, she was the owner. There was no bartender. Our server was great and very patient, especially as we arrived over an hour and a half before closing, but only sat 20-30 minutes before closing (as four tops). He didn't get angry at all, even though the situation was from the control of both parties. The food was pretty good. The meatballs were well seasoned and cheerful. We ordered some appetizers, a Margherita pizza and a Neapolitan pizza. The aromas were good and the crust was quite good, although the tomatoes made it soggy after too long to sit. The drinks were purgatory. Beer here is still pretty good. Again, I welcome the staff. They do their best. But property must bring it together.
First visit was in July and I haven’t stopped coming in yet. Great food, great service, amazing staff
