Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Dania Beach

I had lunch with my coworkers last Friday and ordered the triple meat platter, which included chicken, pork, and brisket. Unfortunately, the presentation was lacking; all the meats were mixed together, and both the bread and meat were quite dry. I also ordered a side of French fries, which were fantastic—crispy and delicious. However, the server only gave me a half portion of fries, even though my coworker received a full serving of the same side. Additionally, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful; a little more enthusiasm and friendliness would go a long way. Overall, I wish them luck improving their service.

I was shouted at by a woman who claimed she didn’t speak English and was treated rudely. As for the food, I received dry, broken pieces of chicken that were supposed to be sliced but resembled chips – they were incredibly tough! The brisket was more like chipped beef despite my request for slices, and while it was also hard, at least the flavor was decent. Overall, I was extremely upset because it certainly didn’t justify the price I paid; in fact, it shouldn’t even be served. To top it off, I witnessed the woman licking her fingers while preparing the food, which was quite unappetizing. I strongly recommend avoiding this location.

I couldn't bring myself to finish the meal. There was an unpleasant taste that reminded me of rotten meat. I'm not claiming it was spoiled, as I have no way to prove that, but it definitely had a strange smell. Both the brisket and the ribs had this odor. I won't be returning.

My 3 Meat Plate came with 2 pieces and i could only eat one. Also it came with only less than half full little container of bbq sauce for all 3 meatsMy drink was LOADED with iceDont buy the onions. You know like the pickled ones they have at every bbq pit under the sun!! You will get a tiny container of scallion like onions.The sausage was mushy ... yes, mushy... like overcooked carrots or yams. It was gross.Mac and cheese was aight. Toast was good.

Great place to order from. Food is amazing. Atmosphere inside is okay. It's small but in good location.
