Bidra med feedbackThe food here is excellent. It's situated in a lively area with several other restaurants. The atmosphere has a classic, rustic feel, with a lot of wood accents. The interiors are somewhat dimly lit, enhancing the cozy ambiance. There's a spacious bar and outdoor seating available as well. Do note that there is a dress code—hats are not permitted in the dining area. The food is truly top-notch, and the staff is friendly and well-informed. I will definitely return to Houston's again.
This American restaurant offers a wonderful selection of entrees and appetizers in a spacious setting. The house-smoked salmon was light and flavorful, perfectly complemented by a dill sauce on a thin, delicious waffle-like bread. The seasonal vegetable platter featured a delightful variety of beets topped with goat cheese, alongside couscous, broccoli, and creamy corn, served with a side of baked potato. The French dip was served hot and fresh, tender, and incredibly tasty when dipped into Au Jus. Their cheesecake was nothing short of amazing; made with sweet potatoes as a key ingredient, it's truly a standout dessert. Enjoy, fellow food lovers!
Houston's is my family's favorite restaurant for many reasons. There's truly nothing like it; it's refreshingly unpretentious and offers classic dishes executed to perfection! The decor is warm and inviting, with lots of rich dark wood. The spinach and artichoke dip is unmatched, especially when served with sour cream and salsa—it's a signature touch. The French dip is one of my all-time favorites, and we can't get enough of their chicken fingers, which are an off-menu gem. Their "mustard-honey" sauce is simply the best. I highly recommend it!
Excellent start to finish. We were taken back one minute prior to reservation time, seated at a nice out if the way table and greeted by our server shortly thereafter. Filet was cooked medium to perfection, and cheeseburger excellent as well. Highly recommend. This was my second visit and will be back.
