Houston's - Dallas

Excellent eating. the hotel is located in hi with several other restaurants. very classic and woody. at the place the interiors are quietly dark with all wood. expansive bar. seating outdoors available. they have a dress code, where guards are not allowed in the area. Eating is excellent. the personal is friendly and knowledgeable. will return to houston.

Houstons is my family favorite restaurant for more reasons then one. There is nothing like it because it is so unpretentious with classic foods made so good! The decor in Houston is warm and welcoming thanks to the abundant dark forests. Spinach and artichoke diving is incomparable and served with acid cream and salsa. The French dip is one of my favorite items and our other absolute favorites are their chicken fingers that are an off-menu masterpiece. Your “Mustard-Honey” is the best. Very recommended!

All I can say is wow. I've had really good salmon and a really good french dip in the past, and this blew them out of the water. This place has ruined me from getting those two menu items from anywhere else. They also have some of the best key lime pie that I've ever had. The service was also impeccable, our bartender Donovan was amazing. This restaurant is definitely now on our permanent rotation.

My top 2 ribs I have ever had!! When I say fall off the bone I mean you pick them up and the meat falls off the ribs .. every time is nothing but bones left!! My friend and I decided to go to Houston 's to pick up food we 'd previously ordered a couple of hours prior. When we arrived, I noticed that I did not have all of the items I ordered. I immediately told the curbside server that I was missing a few items. I was in a hurry because I was picking up food for someone else as well as myself. After I waited 20 minutes, I supposedly got the rest of my food. When I arrived home, I noticed that I still didn 't have all the items I ordered and paid for. I called Houston 's where I had just left, driving all the way back to McKinney, and all they said was, I 'm sorry. They never made any provisions for me to return to get my food, or any kind of other accommodations. After asking for a manager, I was told that they 're too swamped to care about me, a paying customer, who has been a paying customer for years. I was told to call back tomorrow, and speak to anyone because they were just too busy at the moment. They 're now price gouging and charging almost $10 for vegetables, at a time such as this. So after receiving the steak that I ordered, for $36, it was no bigger than the palm of my hand. Pictures are attached to this review, because you 'd have to see it to believe it. I believe whomever is in charge of this low mentality should be exposed. In total, we spent $90 for this meal, even with food and items missing. I know we 're in a crisis at the moment, but I would 've expected better from such an established and well-put-together restaurant. We could 've chose any other restaurant, but we wanted quality, and these people proved to be anything but. They see this crisis as an opportunity to rob people, and that 's exactly what they 're doing. It 's dishonest and completely immoral, and now that I see who these people are under this pressure, I will never patronize them again, and it 's a shame, because the food was decent.
