Subway - Dalhart

Super friendly people welcomed us as soon as we walked in. Service was fast and the bathrooms were really clean.

We stopped in town for the night after driving all day. Went to subway and there were very nice workers who made very good sandwiches! The service was amazing! Even being grumpy from being in the car all day the workers were so kind hearted you just couldn't help but smile!

Very inconsistent on getting what you order through the drive thru. Went today and had my sandwich toasted, bread was almost burnt and meat was ice cold. It's very upsetting getting back to work with a lunch that's not what you expected.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Colorado. They were out of all breads but 2, condiments, etc which I understand is a delivery thing and not at the fault of employees. But I gave a low star review for the following: failure to let known that they were out of certain things because there was a lot. One of the workers went to the back to do something that was asked of them, and returned wearing the same gloves pushing a cart, then proceeded to run the veggie line without changing gloves. Cashier and window worker was bouncing between running the veggie line and taking transactions in the same pair of gloves. I believe that is a cross contamination and sanitary no no.

Extremely rude experience! I requested extra spinach on my sandwich, and the employee told me it was too difficult for them to close it with more spinach. What? I'm the one paying for it! I also asked the girl to change her gloves after she touched the computer screen and then my sandwich, but she seemed put out by the request. Additionally, when I asked for tomatoes, she appeared very annoyed because there weren't any in the bin, as if fetching them from the back was a huge inconvenience. It's clear that these employees need to improve their customer service and hygiene skills. If you're hungry in this area, I recommend skipping this place and heading to the sandwich shop across the highway—hopefully, the service at Which Wich will be much better!
