The Boat - Dacorum

This restaurant is always a reliable option, with quick service at the bar usually within 5-7 minutes. The food is tasty and there is a great selection of beers on tap. I was a bit let down by the "lamb chops" special, as it only included one chop for £25, but it was delicious nonetheless. It would have been a nice appetizer. The atmosphere is relaxed, and I recommend booking a table outside if the weather is nice and you prefer outdoor dining.

Our experience was extremely disappointing. To begin with, there was an error in the billing for one of our meals and drinks. Furthermore, we were dismayed to overhear Kelly, a member of the staff, engaging in gossip about our table. Additionally, when I inquired about the vegan status of the Tofu sandwich, Mitch responded in a condescending and sarcastic manner, stating, Obviously, PB stands for plant-based, so yes, it 's vegan. The demeanour of both Kelly and Mitch was consistently rude. I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment.

Very nice pub with friendly staff and a good selection of beverages

Great little pub by the canel! Dog friendly and great atmosphere. Staff at the bar need a little more friendly service, felt as if I just wanted to order and get out to my table as soon as possible. May of been a bad day for that person so I still will return!

We had a great time at the pub yesterday! The atmosphere was friendly and the terrace was lovely. Our host Isabela also made us feel very welcome.
