Nash Bros Market - Custer

This is a failed business. Owners had no business experience and failed to obtain a liquor license, the previous owners had a license so this makes no sense. Bottom line they had hours of operation that caused customers to have to go elsewhere. They over estimated how profitable having ready made meals, and they had limited groceries to select from. Clue why they failed, I ordered a Holiday meal for 4, they didn't think to ask me to pre-pay, I reminded the person that it the way to handle it. Owners then posted a message telling people off for asking to special order an item from them and failed to pick the item. This is a historic market and they disrespected it.

Clean, friendly, delicious deli, and tamales. Loved the food. I will be back.

The review of one star that you see was written in 2016. These old owners are gone. This is a business that started during Covid and is doing their best to stay afloat. The new owners have become beloved businessmen of Custer. There food from their deli is really good. I love the chicken wings and the tuna pasta salad is some of the best I ever had. If you want something, just ask them or call ahead. Be kind in what you say.
