Food and atmosphere was great. But I am not here to write a review about those. This place adds a 'Living wage fee ' on to the bill and passes it on to the customers. As customers, it is not our responsibility to offset the duties of the owner. It is the owner 's responsibility to pay their employees basic living wages. Tipping based on the service is acceptable to me, but passing the responsibilities of running a business on to customers shouldn 't be normalized. Does the fact that the establishment is now charging a 'Living wage fee ' mean that they were not paying their employees basic living wages before?
