Bidra med feedbackThe most underwhelming and unwelcoming staff I've ever encountered. People working there seem underhanded and food made my stomach turn. Taters were greasy, heavy and burger was grimy. Angry worker never changed gloves continually wiping them on a grimy rag while preparing my burger. Honestly, I can make a better veggie burger with store bought ingredients..their impossible burger patty is cut in half.Thank God I had a gift card from a friend. Everything is Sisco not organic and not fresh or healthy. I wouldn't be so upset if the people there were actually friendly, helpful or greeted you with a smile rather than coming off as controlling, ordering me to sit, stand, wait. What happened to kindly asking the customer if they need help. When I requested something they said no problem then forgot so I had to make a second request.. Unacceptable.
Good! I like the chicken sandwich better than the burger. The burger is okay. Food is very expensive for what it is.
I love Monty's, the food is quite good and I think that for a lot of my non-vegan friends, they can eat it and they don't complain the entire time. You know what I mean? Sometimes you go to a vegan place like this and all of your meat eating friends are like, this is no good this is no good blah blah blah blah blah. Monty's really scratches that itch for vegans, and they can bring their me eating friends, and you really don't even have to tell them. There is this little bit of a punk pastiche thing going on, where there's this aesthetic of punk rock and misfit stickers and things like that, but your paying $18 for a cheeseburger. Don't fool anybody. You're not doing something that really goes against the system or anything like that. Other than that this is a great place and I recommend it to everyone.
Before today, the first and only time that I 've been to this place was about a year ago, so I decided to give it another try. First, I will say that the staff was very friendly and that the cashier was helpful. The ambiance is what I would describe as young-hipster vibes, they even inspired their logo after The Misfits (if you don 't know The Misfits, simply google Die, Die My Darling anyway, so, so far so good, except that the main reason I would go out to eat is for the food, and that 's where the problem is; anyone who goes out to eat plant based food is interested in a healthy lifestyle, but the food here is so incredibly GREASY, OILY, AND HEAVY, that it defeats the purpose. I actually didn 't even finish eating my order, because it was so greasy; it sadly ended up in the trash can.
I go here because my son is vegetarian. The food is expensive for what it is but it's quite good as well.
