Bidra med feedbackThe food was not very good. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce even though they said it was made fresh. They brought another salsa green but it was just hot, no flavor. The sauce on the tamale tasted like tomato sauce, too. Not good food. A total waste of $55 for 3 ppl. We had water.
Sooo many times (weekly) we’ve visited Los Magueyes and this time will be MOST remembered.Alberto Cruz; Manager and Tatiana was our waitress.I ordered the Mojarra Frita at $14.99 after asking Tatiana a few questions regarding the fish. She said “Ma’am it’s a BIG fish”, and Hubby has the Carnitas platter. His food was so awesome. However, the whole fried fish was over cooked and hardly no meat on the fish. Basically bones. Hubby food arrived approximately 10min before my plate arrived. When I asked to have the fish removed from the bill (I was prepared to leave that amount as extra towards the tip). Tatiana replied “Us Mexicans know not much meat is on tilapia, you should have ordered the filet style”…Well why didn’t you say so and not contradict yourself with the whole “Big Fish” deal. Alberto (Manager) made such a big deal and said “You ate the whole thing”. My reply was there was nothing to eat. Not to make a scene I just asked for the check and paid. Rodriguez, Jaime RAYAS CERVANTES, GLORIA (President/ VP), Poor Management is THE worse. It won’t stop me from returning, however I won’t explore the menu as I usually do. I’ll just stick to tacos ?. Another thing… What’s going on with the A/C?? It’s SO hot for the last 4 visits.As for Alberto Cruz: perhaps explore more management and customer service skill. If not, stay in the back that way you don’t have to deal with people ?.
Service was great. Food looked delicious, however lacked flavor. The enchilada was wrapped in a rancid tasting shell. The Margarita was the worst I’ve ever had…..Oh and the ceilings were leaking in several spots on a clear day?
I love their food and they'd been really great, but the last two times I've ordered take out and been very specific on what I want (and paid extra for it ... ie extra sour cream, no guac, cheese sauce on the side because I eat it for 2 meals, etc) they have messed it up. I understand its a lot to ask but I tip 20% on take out, and its Like Majorly messed up. It's super frustrating to pay extra for stuff and then it not be right. I mean ridiculously not right. AND I watched her write down the order. And bc it's all double knotted to go when they sit it there... so while I should have checked the bag, Ive never had this bad of an issue and I'd have to rip the bag open bc of the knot. So annoyed rn.
One of my favorite places to eat Mexican food when I’m in the area. The food is always great and very authentic. The waitress, Celina was so adorable and on top of everything, making sure we had everything we needed. Caitlin wait to come back. I highly recommend trying this place out.
