Nando's - Croydon

This place is amazing! Portuguese eat all the way! one of the best roasted chickens I have eaten outside portugals. I think everyone should try it at least once. the room itself is pretty cool. very cozy. nice to go with friends and a great time with great food.

Cluck! before I left england, that was my fave nandos, always good service, good huh, good prices, clean and a great meeting point for all! refillable drinks and beautiful desserts also: nandos australia has to raise his socks!

Only to have nando’s discovered, this is a great place if they are in a hurry and want to eat great tasting at the same time. a simple idea that works a fast eating place that is a nice place to be!

Nando's, I love it..... Let me say one thing, I hate fast food, I can't stand it, I would rather eat my own eyes than choose to eat a MuckDonalds or equivalent. But sometimes, a combination of beer, hunger, and convenience I sometimes have to pull out the fork, pluck out my eyes and then march into a BK and ask them to microwave them and pop them in a bun. Then along came Nando's and I suddenly realized that the hot spicy REAL chicken was far nicer than eating my own eyes, and now, 99 time out of 100 if I want some fast food, I will usually go into a Nando's. I believe there recipe for success is the fact they keep things simple. All they do is Chicken, and they do it well. (They do offer a veggie option too, just in case) And it looks like a REAL bit of chicken and not a whole animal that's been shoved through a blender and made into a patty. Nando's in my book is brilliant, and I hope a lot more fast food places will open up and take on the similar ethos. I really don't mind spending an extra few quid for quality. And Croydon High Street, is my favorite Nando's of them all.
