Lagos Island - Croydon

Five months later, I tried Lagos Island again and called ahead to see if I could get some extra plantains with my order. Thankfully, they made it possible, and I was very pleased with my experience this time. I’ve updated my rating to 4 stars. My only suggestion would be to offer the option for extra plantains directly through the Deliveroo app.

The Nigerian food here is consistently top-notch and fresh. The Jollof rice is just how I like it: perfectly cooked, flavorful, slightly spicy, and free of burnt bits. The fried fish with efo riro is also delightful. The service is good, but I would appreciate a bit more plantain in the Jollof rice portion. Overall, I give it a solid 5 stars!

The customer service was excellent, the portions were generous, and the food was incredibly flavorful. I ended up ordering from here two days in a row. I highly recommend it!
