Good food. I'd be careful if you have sensitive ears and it's busy the place is incredibly loud

Drinks were good, the atmosphere was fun. Our server was slow to get drinks but then was pretty attentive. Chips and salsa were good. I ordered the ceviche and a taco for my meal. The Baja taco was delicious. The ceviche was horrible. It was like a seafood salad put into a fried plantain cup. The kale salad served with it was quite good though. My son ordered the short rib empanadas and he took two bites and had me try it because they tasted funny. They did in fact taste funny. The beef was turning bad and we sent them back. Our server did not handle us sounding it back very well. He was quite snarky. What a shame. I had read decent reviews about this place too.

Mother's Day Brunch and you might expect there would be kids at your restaurant, but instead Loco made the decision to not carry any chocolate milk and to remove the French toast from the menu that day? Interesting decision... Last time we went to brunch was a couple of years ago and really loved it. This time around it seemed the food was less impressive and the atmosphere didn't seem to care about whether we enjoyed ourselves. Nice waitress, uninterested hostess, 2 different types of music(from each room) battling it out in my head, sad looking fruit bowl, not crispy home fries, good omelette, sad kids, and disappointed wife. I've heard a lot of good things about Loco and I finally had the opportunity to try it for myself. It was excellent! The food was delicious and service was great! Our server, Emily, was very personable and attentive. I was very pleased!
