Cj's At The Lake - Crofton

The ambiance was lovely, but unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. We traveled 50 miles specifically to try the highly-recommended prime rib, only to find out that the oven was broken. What we received seemed to come straight from the freezer and was microwaved. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and attentive. We might consider returning in the future, once we can be sure that the prime rib will be available.

The food was decent. I ordered a burger, but it didn’t come with any sides, and I had to pay extra for the tomato, lettuce, onion, and pickle.

I stopped by for lunch with a friend while we were traveling through the area. The buffet was small, but the food was excellent and the service was great.

On a positive note, the staff was wonderful and friendly. We may consider returning in the future when we know there will be prime rib available.
