Toreros Famosos - Crescent City

Nice place to dine, but be aware of their posted opening time. They are mostly late afternoon and evening. If you're passing through and looking for lunch, they are not open till 3 p.m., other than that it's a great place to eat if they fit your schedule.

My girlfriend and I stopped here for dinner on a not so busy Sunday evening and had a very nice dining experience. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive and the food was just great overall. I had the Fajita burrito which was an awesome combination as well a tamale which was served wet which I haven't actually had before but was also tasty. I also really liked their chips and salsa, fresh warm chips and a nice thin salsa that actually had some heat to it unlike most places that go as mild as possible. They also had a green salsa for us to try which was actually spicy and I loved it. A couple drinks and we had a good night. Was pricey for two people but that's any small business restaurant anywhere today, just the new norm I suppose

Waitress wasn't friendly. Food wasn't that good. Chicken was very hard to chew. The bill was very high.

Great food! the personal is very friendly. we showed up 30 minutes before the closure and sat immediately with great service! look at this! the prices are at $16. they have a lounge in the back part of the restaurant. when they finish eating, they can end the day at night with a few drinks. they also have drinks to go
