Caffe Bon-ami - Cranston

We drove an hour from Boston to visit this restaurant, and it was absolutely worth the journey! The crepes and quiches were incredible! The owner was incredibly welcoming. You definitely won't be disappointed. I only wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

I instantly fell in love with this place! It’s a must-visit! The owner, who is also the master barista, has an incredibly charismatic personality and is so welcoming that you feel right at home. He clearly knows his products and makes fantastic coffee! I ordered a mocha latte, and it’s the best I’ve ever had! The balance of chocolate, espresso, milk, and a hint of cherry and cinnamon flavor is simply perfect! Wow! I will definitely return when I’m in Rhode Island again. Thank you!

My wife usually opts for the Belgian waffles with fruit. They're fluffy, delicious, and generously portioned—so much so that it's often too much for her, which allows me to confirm they taste fantastic. The owner also offers a unique coffee experience that’s hard to find in the US: kopi luwak. I haven’t tried it here yet, but I'm eager to sample the coffee from his supplier; I used to enjoy a lot of it back in college, thanks to a friend whose Indonesian wife would send him care packages with the coffee while waiting for her visa. The prices here aren't the lowest, but the quality definitely justifies the trip. I look forward to exploring more of the menu and trying the kopi luwak. **Update 10/16/18:** I finally got the chance to try the kopi luwak, and it was an incredible experience. The flavor exceeded my expectations. I've had it elsewhere, but brewed through a coffee siphon, it tasted so much better. Plus, the owner took the time to explain the brewing process and its significance, which added to the experience. The flavor was so delightful that it makes me want to invest in my own coffee siphon!
