R'evolution - Cozumel

Food was excellent, service was O.K. (wait staff spending most time with larger tables)... issue arose when time to call taxi. Waiter said he would take care of calling taxi. Taxi arrived and took us back to hotel. Came time to pay . Cabbie charged twice as much to get back as it cost to go. I asked to see the fare screen and reply was Oh, I don 't go by that . Waiter had called a Gypsy Cab and was obviously being paid a finder 's fee. Left with a feeling of having been scammed... WILL NOT GO BACK.

Great service first and foremost. The food was incredibly thoughtful with unique details and new takes on classics like “death by gumbo”. Lobster gnocchi were incredible. Fun cocktails and mocktails that again a were thoughtful and not batch produced.

Absolutely amazing experience! Our servers were both knowledgeable and personable. Gave great recommendations and very attentive. The food was absolute perfection from the appetizer all the way to dessert. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

I could go on for days about the food, which, being from John Folse, I knew would be outstanding, but the thing that really hit me was the service. You can order anything on the menu you will be happy. We had raw oysters, seafood gumbo, blue crab beignets, crawfish, Montegut, redfish, a filet. Everything was wonderful. I won't even get into dessert, which was Heavenly. The service was more than I had ever dreamed of though. The duo of Isaac Kevin made us feel like we were their only customers that night. They knew exactly how to time our meal, being present without making us feel rushed. I like to take my time through a NOLA meal, so I especially appreciated this. The prices may scare off a few but to that I can only say, you get what you pay for, you get a whole lot here. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.

Very creative and delicious food, with attentive friendly service. Very willing to modify most offerings to accommodate gluten and dairy restrictions in a manner that did not compromise the spirit and creativity of the dish. Amazing wine list with a number of “approachable” selections, as well as wines by the glass. This was our 2nd visit, and we look forward to returning.
