Don't know anything about the hotel. The R Bar was a great place to watch the saints game. Outside looks like the NCIS New Orleans show, inside much different. I like the vibe, the area is slightly more sketch than near Jefferson Park. Oh, good AC too! BTW: Get the frozen pineapple mojito.

Great room lots of character beats your normal hotel.

Nice folks have a good time here. A great punk rock bar, which I presume could double as a rock and roll bar or metal bar, based on who's bartending but I've only been once. I plan to correct that on my next trip to New Orleans.

We stayed at the royal suite because we won a raffle they donated to trampled rose animal rescue ! Wish we could stay longer we loved our balcony, the amazing bath and beds and all the gorgeous details.we are locals and already had enjoyed the bar but were amazing by the hotel and ease of check in. NOT accessible but we managed to get our bicycles up the stairway

Out of the way or off the beaten path, but always inviting.
